Nails and My Process
As a kid, I did not care much for my nails. I would bite or
cut them off roughly, sometimes cutting into my nail and hurting myself.
This behavior continued until I went to the Destnei Farm.
(On the Desteni Farm) I walked into the living room where Bernard was sitting
in his chair, he was busy filing his nails. I had a reaction to this as I
thought only girls file their nails.
Bernard said: You must take care of your nails, and watch them, they are an
indication of your process. That was it. I did not ask more or try to find out
more about the point, yet it left an impression on me.
The next time my nails got long (like in the picture) I took a nail clipper,
and clipped my nails as perfectly as I could, with awareness holding within me
that this is an indication of my process. Not fully understanding how or why.
then filed them down till they were in alignment with my fingertips, this
helped me to remain practical on the farm doing all kinds of work with my
hands, to not have a nail too long or too short for the work I needed to do,
sitting calmly and enjoying the self-care process., or self-perfecting moment.
I never asked Bernard about what exactly it shows, or how to look at it or use
the points, as they ARE an indication of my process, so it would have been good
to know lol. I simply kept doing it.
This is what I thus far have come to see and consider for myself within the
point.
I know nails are dead cells. They are compounded together and pushed out by the
body through the fingers and become “nails”. Thus, they are old information, as
information is stored within the cells.
So, I started looking at fingers as FAX machines (not printers) as in the old days, you could receive a fax from whoever and you must look at it to know who send it and why, for what? and each finger FAXES out nails. The nails then show through a compounded effect the past, as in what has been accepted and allowed within the body as self/who I am, the bodies way of sending you a FAX lol.
For this I can look at each nail practically and how it looks, grows and feels on the finger, what is on them, in them, the shape of them on my finger shape, as you would look at the information coming out of a FAX machine. Here I would access how long it takes for me to each time cut my nails once they are just longer than the tip of my finger, which takes about a month for me each time. Thus the tips of my nails on my hands are information from about two years ago as they are in the front, and the new growth is starting in the back always.
I would then have to look self-honestly at my past depending on what the nails are showing me in the front, are they great or shit, or is there anything to look at and work on ect (self-honesty), and for this I could give nails a timespan of about two years to LOOK at (growing through one time), go back to within myself look at what has taken place in the past two years or so that brings the effects on my nails currently.
For this, I needed to also find out and learn/understand what EACH finger represents within self as the body, as this would actually tell me I am working with a point of for example my left index finger, which means Expression (left) within Direction (index finger) and I can now look back within that particular point within myself. I also had to realize that it takes TIME to correct anything and see results, as nails grow lol.
For me to even start with this journey of using my nails as a process indication, I had to first fix my nails, care for them very well, stop any biting/chewing, or hurting and destroying them through “work” )like a mechanic, or carpenter/machinery name it) and have a good daily “diet” which brought more awareness to how I use my hands in all things I do, to have my nails actually grow “naturally” so I can see without any outside influences what comes from within ME as my nails as my process…
This is where I am at with nails about 14 years later.
